Marlowe Hotel

Kimpton’s Marlowe Hotel is a Kimpton hotel property in Cambridge massachusetts’s Kendall Square neighborhood, right along the banks of the Charles River overlooking downtown Boston.

The Marlowe hotel brand was a little too whimsical and not sophisticated enough for their target clientele. They were attracting business travelers with no problem, but not enough guests on the weekends or over the holidays.

Bootjack Design developed a new, more elegant visual brand that leaned into the hub of knowledge and learning that Cambridge is known for. Inspired by exploration and vintage map markings, the new visual design and messaging encourage guests to rediscover Boston and explore the city with fresh eyes.
